NSAMT surveys utilise the same effects as CSAMT surveys but work with natural sources such as solar winds and electrical storms. The presence of very low frequency EM waves makes possible very large investigation depths, up to several kilometers. Zonge receivers allow the collection of scalar, vector or tensor data which can be processed using Zonge software (SCS2D). Zonge specialises in the application of remote reference AMT acquisition, enabling data collection in areas that would normally not be considered for natural source methods due to high levels of cultural EM noise.
