Zonge performs downhole EM surveys using the Atlantis probe which uses tri-axial fluxgate magnetometers to measure the magnetic field induced from a surface EM loop. Downhole EM surveys provide valuable data on subsurface resistivity and can confirm and delineate surface EM anomalies at depth. By providing accurate resistivity data, downhole EM allows for mapping of lithology and structure, as well as groundwater mapping and other environmental or mining applications. The GGT-30 transmitter provides high currents needed for large depths of investigation, whilst the receivers provide state of the art acquisition.
